Job summary

RigUp, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on construction and production facility equipment and systems.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, inspect pumps, valves, gauges, and safety systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot, and the capacity to work independently while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Safety certifications: OSHA 30, H2S training, confined space.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service according to schedules
• Inspect pumps, compressors, valves, and gauges
• Execute lubrication schedules, filter changes, and calibration checks
• Conduct equipment testing per manufacturer specifications
• Test ESD valves and actuators
• Inspect pressure safety valves (PSVs)
• Maintain fire and gas detection systems
• Test emergency isolation systems
• Work with PLC/SCADA controls related to shutdowns
• Complete documentation for compliance and audits
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company procedures
