The Facilities Engineer supports the physical environment required for the delivery of health care services and is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of the facility by monitoring, operating, and maintaining building systems and equipment. They must possess a working knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures required to safely and effectively perform the duties of a stationary engineer and maintenance electrician, while also continuously developing knowledge of new processes, equipment, and technologies used to carry out the work.
