Job summary

LightForce is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient operation of our building's mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. This role balances hands-on troubleshooting with technical design, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

You will supervise routine maintenance, drive energy efficiency, ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes, and lead facility upgrades with internal teams and external contractors. A background in MEP, CAD, and CMMS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and 7+ years of facilities experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and reading blueprints/CAD drawings.
• Proficiency with CMMS software; MaintainX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise routine upkeep for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and exhaust systems.
• Ensure facility operations comply with codes, OSHA, and environmental regs.
• Design and manage facility upgrades, layouts, renovations, and budgets.
• Hire, manage, and coordinate outside contractors and service providers.
• Implement energy efficiency programs to lower costs.
• Diagnose infrastructure failures and perform RCA.
