Job summary

Service Partners is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure that mechanical assets operate safely, efficiently, and within budget at our manufacturing and distribution facilities. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facilities, with emphasis on preventive programs and OSHA/compliance adherence.

You will manage maintenance schedules, work with subcontractors, and maintain records while ensuring safety and cost objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and 5+ years in manufacturing equipment and facilities maintenance.
• Mechanical/technical knowledge of plastic processing equipment and maintenance.
• Strong electrical background and experience up to 440-volt systems.
• Experience with welding, refrigeration, compressed air, pneumatics, hydraulics and plumbing is desirable.
• Excellent project management skills and knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Fire Code regulations.

Responsibilities

• Executes maintenance for production equipment, facilities, and environmental safety.
• Implements maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Oversees spare parts inventory and coordinates with vendors and subcontractors.
• Repairs, installs, and maintains production equipment and facilities.
• Maintains documentation of maintenance records and safety programs.
