Flex is seeking an Industrial/Facilities Engineer to apply engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, or processes used in manufacturing products.

The role emphasizes feasibility analysis, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient plant solutions. You will work with CAD tools, analyze technical data, and stay current with industry developments while guiding project teams to implement improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 6+ years as Industrial or Facilities Engineer or related area
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to read, research and interpret technical journals, government regulations, and financial documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to present to groups of managers, customers and vendors

Aufgaben

• Researches facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define producible designs
• Researches engineering proposals, process requirements and related data for industrial facilities machinery and equipment design
• Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, space, time, and other factors
• Provides technical facility information concerning manufacturing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations
• Compiles and researches facilities data to establish performance standards for equipment
• Keeps abreast of technical changes by studying industry publications
• Uses CAD/CAE software to perform engineering tasks
• Guides projects and project teams
