Job summary

Bevara Building Services is seeking a dedicated individual to provide world-class service at our commercial buildings around St. Louis, MO. This role covers ongoing assessments, basic repairs, and maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and typically operates on the 1st shift. A valid driver’s license is essential, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience in commercial building operations and engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for interior and exterior equipment.
• Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing check-in/out and guiding them to work areas while documenting work completed.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and adhere to OSHA and client safety standards.
• Conduct yourself professionally in line with company values.
