Job summary

Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer II to support global sites in a safety-first culture, addressing buildings, grounds, and manufacturing equipment. The role blends office and floor-time, collaborating across functions to improve facilities and sustainability.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years’ experience, with strong MS Office skills and knowledge of NFPA/NEC/OSHA codes. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Basic familiarity with codes and regulations (NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Ability to apply project management skills to all facets of work.
• Basic understanding of facility design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot facilities infrastructure and systems in manufacturing and office operations; recommend changes.
• Provide engineering support, training, and problem solving to site departments on facilities items.
• Manage facilities-related capital expenditure projects from design to completion; budgets and contractor management.
