Job summary

Carr Properties seeks a Building Engineer I for its 901 K Street location in Washington, DC. You will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler systems and controls while supporting tenants and collaborating with the Chief Engineer.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in a trade or vocational schooling, plus basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge. This is a non-exempt, on-site position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, inspections, and adjustments; read readings.
• Assist with snow removal, locksmith duties, and occasional painting.
