Job summary

Lincoln Property Company in Seattle is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA/NFPA. This full-time, in-office role offers opportunities for professional development and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; BAS operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
