Job summary

Astellas is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the Technical Operations group in calibration, maintenance, and project work. The role requires hands-on work, strong communication, and adherence to cGMP and SOPs at the Westborough, MA site.

You will manage maintenance software, coordinate outside services, write SOPs, and contribute to investigations and documentation control while supporting ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA degree or 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of GMP and Biopharmaceutical work environment.
• Knowledge of Blue Mountain or other asset management system.
• Safety and security policies to promote safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management System.
• Schedules and coordinates outside services.
• Communicates effectively with all organizational levels.
• Uses MS Outlook for email and scheduling.
• Completes required documentation and training.
• Initiates document changes and supports deviations and CAPAs.
• Works with team to meet GMP compliance and documentation practices.
