Astellas is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the Technical Operations group at the Westborough, MA site, performing calibrations, preventive maintenance, and SOP development in a GMP environment. Qualifications

• BA degree in related field or 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
• Working fluency with the basic Microsoft Office productivity suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintains Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management System with appropriate training.
• Schedules and coordinates outside services for calibrations, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Good written and verbal communication with all organizational levels.
• Uses MS Outlook for email and scheduling.
• Independently completes required documentation and training.
• Initiates Document Change Requests; author, revise and review documentation.
• Assists in the completion of deviations and CAPAs.
• Works with the team to follow best practices and meet department goals.
• Engages in multiple projects while maintaining GMP compliance and good documentation practices; shows initiative.
