Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join the Facilities & Engineering team. You will perform calibration, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of process control instruments and building systems across the site, in a GMP-regulated environment.

The role requires reading manuals and engineering drawings, CMMS documentation, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. A high school diploma/1 year maintenance or an Associate's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires reading manuals and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CMMS documentation and work orders.
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical diagrams.
• Technical training with operations or maintenance background.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment in process control and building systems.
• Complete quality and safety documentation following GMPs, SOPs, and policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems; communicate status to operators and stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS; support cross-functional teams.
• Identify waste or process improvements and assist with implementation.
• Participate in training to build skills and improve team performance.
