Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Georgetown, KY to provide general maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls. You will drive to stores daily, perform preventive tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain parts inventory with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of electrical/mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, EPA Type 2, and supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to use manufacturer interface software.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• EPA Type 2 Certification.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls.
• Drive independently to stores daily as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
• Assist in component replacement and repairs.
• Navigate electronic controls interfaces and maintain inventory of parts.
• Operate service vehicles and equipment safely.
• Document repairs, labor, parts and usage promptly.
• Comply with department and company policies.
• Audit store equipment identification lists.
