Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Holly Springs, NC for a 6‑month engagement with potential extension. The role supports senior staff in initiating, designing, and delivering facilities projects, with emphasis on field evaluations, commissioning, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years of project engineering/coordination experience, strong communication, and a proactive, multidisciplinary mindset to work in a team-oriented environment on client

Responsibilities

• Work with Facilities Sr Mgr and Facilities Mgr on commissioning and startup of new client facilities in North Carolina.
• Participate in walkdowns and proactive problem solving with the facilities management team.
• Own change controls / deviations / CAPAs; support inspection readiness.
• Develop documentation related to facilities projects.

Job Details

Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for facilities related scope. Employ engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution by third party firms. Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessment for facilities system, perform quality and overall facilities walkdowns. Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations. Participate and be a delegate in commissioning walks for the facilities management team. Skills: self-started, ability to communicate effectively, manage tasks to completion. Experience with facilities management and projects is a must.
