Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrician to inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment across assigned facilities in Dallas. The role involves preventive maintenance, new installations, and adherence to safety standards as part of the Engineering and Technical Services function.

You will review maintenance histories, provide reliable service, and apply practical judgment to solve routine problems while working within standardized procedures.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of job-related experience; apprenticeship preferred.
• Master Electrician license required per local codes.
• Valid Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical and lighting systems' operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Perform new installations of equipment.
• Check, repair, and replace components of electrical and lighting systems (valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes).
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operating safely.
• Review maintenance records to create proactive inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
• Apply standard principles and procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
• Have broad knowledge of own discipline and some knowledge of several related disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values; persuade to reach agreement as needed.
• Impact the quality of own work and team output.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Explain complex information clearly to others.
