Job summary

JLL in Colorado Springs is seeking an Electrician to perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and emergency response for building electrical systems. This hands-on role ensures reliable operation of facility equipment while following health and safety standards.

You will manage the maintenance lifecycle, inspections, repairs, and coordinate with subcontractors, maintain records, support QA, attend site meetings, and explore opportunities to expand contract services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in electrical building maintenance.
• Experience with fault diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Electrical installation work experience with testing and inspection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventative maintenance schedules for electrical systems to maximize reliability.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues, help desk requests, and emergency callouts.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and maintain controls for building services equipment.
• Coordinate subcontractors for electrical aspects of maintenance and manage client requests.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance activities and QA/health & safety compliance.
• Attend monthly site meetings and support other trades as needed to ensure integrated facilities operations.
• Identify opportunities to expand contracts into additional service provisions.
