Qualifications

• General mechanical background and training with some knowledge of pipefitting.
• Understanding overhaul methods and repair techniques from drawings and manuals.
• Equivalent to 2-3 years trades training with 1-2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work to install, overhaul, maintain, alter and repair equipment in facilities maintenance and construction.
• Follow drawings and specifications to obtain materials, tools and equipment and carry out assignments.
• Perform system installation, maintenance and repair; provide preventive maintenance as required.
• Assist other trades on joint projects and train for licenses or certifications as needed.
