Job summary

Augusta University is seeking an Electrician Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs on electrical and lighting systems across the campus facilities. The role requires adherence to the National Electrical Code and the ability to work in on-call rotations.

Shift is Days, pay band 8, salary range around $21.83–$21.91 per hour with full benefits; on-site work with a team of Facilities Operations staff; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with one year of electrical experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: Vocational certificate in electrical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs on electrical and lighting system components.
• Test electrical circuits and equipment using testing instruments.
• Assist with installation of switches, fixtures, wiring, and related components.
• Respond to work requests and document corrective actions.
