Job summary

Augusta University seeks an Electrician 1 to maintain and repair the university's electrical systems on campus, including lighting, generators, and distribution panels. You will perform routine repairs, test circuits, and replace faulty components while following the National Electrical Code.

On-call duty may be required to support the facilities operations team. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of electrical experience, plus a valid driver's license.

• Driver's license required for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders quickly and communicate status to customers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components on campus facilities.
• Execute preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and fire alarm systems as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisor for future work and shutdowns when required.
• Maintain accurate records of actions taken on work requests.
