Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Culpeper, VA, is seeking a Facilities Technician C (Electrician) to maintain and repair plant equipment, install electrical infrastructure, and ensure OSHA/NEC compliance. The role reports to the Associate Manager of Facilities and requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience (or an associate degree with related experience).

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Journeyman electrician license strongly desired. Training from a trade school is a plus.
• Strong electrical experience / training in repairs in an industrial setting preferred.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Outlook, Word and Excel) desired.

Responsibilities

• Work with, troubleshoot and repair plant manufacturing equipment. Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
• Installation of new equipment and electrical infrastructure (such as upgraded electrical panels, transformers, generators, etc.).
• 6S general shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
