The role involves installing and repairing electrical systems, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting issues on various industrial equipment. As the Facilities Electrical Technician, you work on a wide variety of equipment and devices within the facility. Your responsibilities include installing and repairing electrical systems, calibrating equipment, and inspecting designs for quality control. You may also troubleshoot wiring issues or install switchgears.
How big is the job?
Provide all required facility electronic system maintenance work, including work orders, reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance throughout the plant. Must be able to perform repairs of industrial electronic controls to the component level. Requires good troubleshooting skills and the ability to use necessary test equipment including digital multi-meters & oscilloscopes.
Types of controls to be repaired include:
Two-year Technical Degree preferred in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience with a technical degree.
Three years of experience repairing industrial controls to the component level.
Technical or industrial product knowledge is a plus.
Accuracy: perform tasks thoroughly and with attention to detail.
