Job summary

TSMC – Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electrical Technician to operate, maintain, repair and troubleshoot critical electrical systems up to 230kV within site substations and power distribution networks.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman or Master Electrician certification, strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and arc flash safety, and can read schematics, repair procedures, and maintenance manuals while coordinating with vendors for complex equipment

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Current Journeyman Electrician’s certificate or Master Electrician for higher grade levels.
Experience with arc flash hazards and appropriate PPE.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and CMMS programs.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems up to 230kV including substations and switchgear.
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance and keep accurate records.
Schedule and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors during service and maintenance.
Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
