Job summary

INFICON, a leader in vacuum technology and process instrumentation, seeks a Facilities & EHS Manager to maintain facilities equipment and lead compliance programs at our Syracuse site.

You will own PM programs, supervise technicians, manage vendor relationships, and ensure OSHA, RCRA, and ISO 14001 compliance while supporting production and R&D. Strong focus on lean practices and safety; some travel may be required. Relocation assistance and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an associates degree is preferred.
• 6–7 years of hands-on electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with OSHA General Industry compliance, RCRA hazardous waste management, and ISO 14001 program management.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise to a team of maintenance technicians while supervising daily maintenance operations.
• Coordinate general facility maintenance including Safety, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and related projects.
• Own and manage the site's Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and develop predictive maintenance capabilities.
• Lead or assist in selecting and managing outside vendors for facility and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA General Industry, environmental regulations, and ISO 14001 EMS program management.
• Support production and R&D activities related to facilities equipment and optimization.
