Job summary

City of Gainesville, GA is seeking a security supervisor to safeguard the Gainesville Civic Center, Martha Hope Cabin, and Fair Street Neighborhood Center. You will oversee staff, monitor facilities, and coordinate with the Facilities Division to maintain safety and order during events.

Responsibilities include ensuring the security of all fees, conducting rounds, handling emergencies, and communicating clearly with patrons and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related supervisory experience.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of staff, patrons, buildings, and events.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of facilities.
• Interact with patrons and staff positively.
• Handle emergencies and/or complaints as they occur.
• Report issues to Facility Services Manager and/or Parks & Facilities Division Manager promptly.
• Conduct rounds and ensure staff coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
