Job summary

Wingate Residences at Cranston is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to oversee facility operations, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs on a full-time basis. The role includes on-call responsibilities and adherence to safety and policy procedures in a senior living community.

You will collaborate with management to address facility issues and supervise maintenance and grounds staff, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
• Must carry beeper and respond to maintenance call.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions clearly.
• Must demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Must read, know and follow personnel, department, and facility policies.
• Must know how to turn off main power, water, and/or gas supply to facility.
• Must notice small details in equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and urgent repair needs.
• Provide counsel to management regarding facility issues.
• Supervise staff in maintenance and grounds keeping.
