Job summary

The YMCA in Madison, AL is seeking a Property Director to ensure a clean, functional, and inspiring facility experience for members. You will lead the operation of mechanical, housekeeping, and life safety systems, and coordinate preventive maintenance, fire safety, security, and pool operations to support safe and welcoming programs.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience in managing facilities operations and maintenance staff.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and related trades.
• Experience with project management, bidding, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, exemplary work and hazard prevention.
• Physical stamina for a full shift on facility premises.
• Obtain a Certified Pool Operator license within 180 days of hire.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with a good YMCA-compliant record.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
