Job summary

Leader Dogs for the Blind, based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, seeks a Director of Facilities to oversee all daily and long-term facilities and maintenance across our multi-building campus. You will manage mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and fleet operations, while leading a facilities team and coordinating capital projects.

You will develop and monitor budgets, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain property security and building automation.

Qualifications

• Seven years of facilities maintenance management experience required.
• Five years of experience managing a facilities/maintenance team required.
• Experience in multi-use, multi-site, hospitality and residential environments preferred.
• Facilities Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and long-term facilities and maintenance for multi-building, multi-site campus.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators operations.
• Administer CMMS and building automation systems; manage budgets.
• Coordinate capital projects and safety programs; supervise staff and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations; maintain property security.
• Support events and campus operations; work evenings/weekends as needed.
