Job summary

Leader Dogs for the Blind is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee daily and long-term facility operations across our multi-building campus in Rochester Hills, MI. You will manage mechanical/electrical systems, elevators, safety programs, and fleet, while directing the facilities department and capital projects.

You will lead a team, manage budgets, ensure OSHA compliance, and coordinate with volunteers and departments for events.

Qualifications

• Seven years of facilities maintenance management experience required.
• Five years of experience managing a facilities/maintenance team required.
• Experience in multi-use, multi-site, hospitality and residential environments preferred.
• Facilities Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily and long-term facilities and maintenance needs for the organization’s multi-building, multi-site campus.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevator systems.
• Administer CMMS software, building automation and related systems.
• Plan and manage budgets, capital projects, and vendor performance.
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and security across facilities.
• Coordinate with volunteers and departments for events and operations.
• Supervise team, provide coaching, and schedule labor coverage.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
