Job summary

Corvias seeks a Director of Facilities to lead local maintenance, facilities and vendor operations at the Ft. Rucker area, ensuring high-quality services and a superior living experience for residents.

You will partner with the Operations Director to develop and execute the community management plan. The role requires 7+ years in related work, including 5+ years in leadership, with deep knowledge of maintenance programs, budgeting, and proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage capital

Qualifications

• 7+ years in related work with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with inventory management and purchasing.
• Advanced knowledge of full-cycle maintenance programs.
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction or masonry knowledge.
• Ability to analyze data and link it to business strategy.
• Experience managing operating budgets, CapEx and payroll budgets.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with word processing, Excel, and databases; PM software a plus.
• Degree or coursework in facilities or business management; valid driver's license; willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of facilities management including maintenance programs.
• Champion a resident-first approach and deliver responsive service.
• Serve as primary contact with partners and manage relationships.
• Implement and monitor SOPs, policies and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building codes.
• Oversee daily operations and travel within the community as needed.
• Develop work-order management strategies and capital projects.
• Monitor rent-ready inventory and unit readiness timelines.
• Manage facilities budget and financial performance; assess profitability.
• Oversee vendor relations and national purchasing partnerships.
• Coordinate reports and lead recruitment and development of staff.
