Job summary

Corvias Corporate Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead local maintenance, facilities, and vendor operations at the assigned location, partnering with the Operations Director to implement the community management plan. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, resident-first service, and strong collaboration to deliver high-quality facilities management.

The successful candidate will live within a daily commutable distance to Ft. Rucker, AL, or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive related experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Inventory management and purchasing experience required.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, construction, and masonry; HVAC, OSHA, EPA compliance a strong plus.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data to connect operations to business strategies.
• Financial experience developing and executing budgets including CapEx; negotiate vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of facilities management, including preventive, predictive, planned, and emergency maintenance.
• Lead a resident-first approach and ensure effective customer service through active listening and problem solving.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders; respond to partner requests and collaborate for program effectiveness.
• Implement SOPs, policies and workflows to drive operational consistency.
• Ensure staff and vendors follow health and safety and building codes; travel to sites as needed.
• Manage budgets and monitor financial performance; analyze trends to improve NOI.
• Oversee vendor relationships and national purchasing coordination.
• Recruit and develop diverse teams; provide feedback and training as needed.
• Lead training and development and promote company culture and service excellence.
• Travel up to 25% and maintain hands-on leadership across communities.
