Job summary

CCMC is seeking a Facilities Director to lead maintenance across association-owned properties in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities management, a technical degree is preferred, and strong project-management and supervisory abilities. You will manage budgets, coordinate contracts, inspect sites, and collaborate with residents, staff, and vendors.

Able to work evenings/weekends and respond to emergencies. Proficiency with MS Office and solid communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management/maintenance.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Project management skills, including planning and delivering on commitments.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, construction plans, and schematics.
• Strong supervisory skills to manage employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility maintenance of association-owned properties.
• Routinely inspects facilities and maintains a preventative maintenance calendar and records.
• Obtains bids for contracted work and issues work orders.
• Builds relationships with vendors and contractors and evaluates performance.
• Reviews invoices prior to payment for accuracy.
• Meets with insurance adjusters for claims involving common property.
• Produces written reports and photo documentation of facility conditions.
• Maintains maintenance schedule aligned with the association’s annual budget.
