Lefferts Investments is seeking a Chief Engineer for the Gale South Beach hotel in Miami. The role oversees engineering and facilities for a large property, coordinating with the General Manager and department leadership.

The Chief Engineer will manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and drive energy efficiency across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems. Flex hours and leadership of cross‑functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in a facilities/engineering leadership role for large properties.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Experience developing and managing facility budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of professionals and external vendors.
• Oversee hotel, condo building, and grounds maintenance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Monitor and improve energy management and costs.
• Prepare annual facilities budget and reports.
