DC Global Talent Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering for a luxury residential property in Miami Beach. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, this senior leadership role supports engineering and facilities operations across the property.

You will lead the engineering team, ensure building systems performance, safety, and resident satisfaction, while partnering with Residential Management and vendors to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality management.
• Proven leadership in supervising engineers or maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations, maintenance, and facilities management across the property.
• Lead and develop the engineering team with a focus on service and excellence.
• Implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage work orders, prioritise requests, and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with Residential Management and resident services on matters.
• Manage contractor/vendor relationships for quality and cost control.
• Assist budgeting and capital planning with purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
