Job summary

CAREERXCHANGE, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering / Chief Engineer for a luxury beachfront hotel in Miami Beach, FL.

This hands-on leadership role oversees all engineering operations, maintenance programs, building systems, and the appearance of the property, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise and develop the engineering team, manage preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors and capital projects, ensure OSHA and fire-safety compliance, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hotel engineering or building maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities
