Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to administer maintenance operations, ensuring facilities and equipment operate at peak efficiency. You will hire, train, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff, and develop preventive maintenance schedules in alignment with safety codes.

You will monitor staffing, coordinate subcontracted projects, and oversee parts inventories, while ensuring compliance with applicable safety and building regulations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of operating, maintaining and repairing electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain required certifications and/or licenses.

Job Description

• Administer overall maintenance operations to maintain the facilities and equipment at the highest level of efficiency.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff.
• Develop and coordinate implementation of procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, fire, and building codes.
• Possess thorough knowledge of operation; maintenance and repair of boilers; electrical, heating, and air conditioning systems; plumbing and mechanical equipment.
• Monitor staffing levels in accordance with business needs.
• Coordinate and supervise sub-contracted projects.
• Maintain and oversee purchasing and parts inventories.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Five (5) years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of the electrical, air conditioning and heating, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
