Job summary

Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Facilities Development Engineer to design and develop equipment installation packages for first-of-a-kind manufacturing tooling. You will oversee steel pedestal design, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
Plan to register as PE or SE in Oregon within 5 years.
1+ years CAD experience with Revit/AutoCAD.
Familiarity with US building codes: ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.

Responsibilities

Support steel pedestal designs in CAD/Revit.
Design and analyze experiments to refine construction practices.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve equipment and systems for manufacturing needs.
Develop and maintain IMDS for tool install infrastructure and process tech.
Work with global teams to enable technology transfers and startup.
Analyze operations to improve efficiency and safety processes.
