Job summary

Jetstream-of-Housto in Tampa, FL is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform preventative maintenance, inspect wash bay, and coordinate service for the parts truck. You will support multiple areas of operations and respond to time-sensitive requests, including after-hours travel.

The role requires 2 years in maintenance or related fields, ability to operate hand and power tools, and a valid driver's license. CDL not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly preventive maintenance schedule for facility equipment.
• Inspect, test, and service wash bay monthly.
• Coordinate service and repairs for parts truck; keep it clean and ready.
• Cross-train and support assembly functions.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and material-handling tasks.
• Follow DOT regulations and transportation policies; perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Transport equipment, parts, and materials for branch/customer operations; travel as needed.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, and building systems.
• Assist with office, warehouse, and yard improvements; replace bulbs and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Assist with setup and relocation of office furniture, equipment, and workstations.
• Maintain exterior areas and landscaping support.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations; respond to emergencies.
• Support facility improvement projects and preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform other facility, logistics, and operational duties as assigned.
