Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Platteville, WI to provide friendly customer service and help with building maintenance and cart retrieval. The role involves assisting customers, keeping the parking lot clean, and supporting other departments as needed.

The position requires good communication, previous retail exposure is a plus, and availability for evenings and weekends. Training and safety guidelines are emphasized to ensure a safe, pleasant shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Associate would perform excellent customer service and help with the building maintenance and cart retrieval, along with other assigned duties that would ensure that the customer has an efficient, pleasant shopping experience.
• This can include, but is not limited to:
• Help retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot
• Load purchases into customer vehicles
• Monitor and clean parking lot and cart area
• Scrub clean and maintain facility floors and restrooms
• Provide facility maintenance
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures
