Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Maintenance Associate to deliver excellent customer service, assist with building upkeep, and manage cart retrieval to ensure a smooth shopping experience. This is a full-time position with weekend duties and the potential for additional duties across departments.

The role emphasizes helping customers, maintaining the parking area and floors, and supporting safety and loss prevention policies. Benefits and training opportunities are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills
• Prior Retail experience preferred
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Associate would perform excellent customer service and help with the building maintenance and cart retrieval, along with other assigned duties that would ensure that the customer has an efficient, pleasant shopping experience.
• This can include, but is not limited to:
• Help retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot
• Load purchases into customer vehicles
• Monitor and clean parking lot and cart area
• Scrub clean and maintain facility floors and restrooms
• Provide facility maintenance
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures
