Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a custodian or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection control and proper handling of cleaning chemicals in clinical settings.
• Guard Card or ability to obtain within 6 months; CPR certification within 90 days; TB and Physical clearance.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize, disinfect and clean clinics, restrooms, waiting areas and break rooms.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors and wipe down surfaces daily.
• Safely dispose of trash, recycling and infectious waste following regulations.
• Assist in emergency responses, alarms, and safety monitoring of the facility.
• Open doors for members, provide clinic information and escort as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and help ensure building security after hours.
