Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking an On-Call Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. Responsibilities include janitorial duties, following the daily schedule, and handling hazardous waste with proper labeling and safety practices.

The role requires basic training or 3-6 months experience, basic reading/communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:50 PM to 11:50 PM, with hourly pay of about

Qualifications

• Education/experience: 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combo.
• May require valid driverfers license.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow daily schedule tasks.
• Handle Hazardous Waste: collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, recycling and packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work in a team to complete tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Adhere to protocols and company policies.
• Take direction from supervision and talk professionally with colleagues.
• Fill in during staff shortage and support shift lead in punch-list items.
• Use proper PPE and present a professional appearance.
• Understand customer service and reporting systems.
