Job summary

Easter Seals North Georgia Inc. is seeking a reliable custodian to maintain a clean, safe environment for children and families across our centers.

The role includes cleaning duties, supply management, room setup for programs, and basic repairs, with building security at day’s start and end. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, plus willingness to travel between center locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months custodial/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and materials.
• Ability to travel among center locations as needed.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing floors, and cleaning restrooms.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and programs.
• Replaces light bulbs and other supplies as needed.
• Secures building at start and end of day.
• Performs minor repairs and monitors HVAC system.
