Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. is seeking a Custodian to support our Child Development Center(s). Under supervision, you will maintain a clean, safe environment for staff, children, and visitors, including cleaning restrooms, floors, and staff areas.

Required: High School diploma, CPR/First Aid, and a Food Handler’s certificate; minimum one year of custodial experience in a licensed facility. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand long hours, and pass background screenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; CPR/First aid certification preferred.
• Experience in custodial or housekeeping in licensed facilities is required (1 year).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; good dexterity and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop floors, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces.
• Restock supplies and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a sanitary environment.
