Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a custodial worker to maintain a clean, safe environment in our Child Development Centers. Under direct supervision, you will clean administrative, eating, and activity areas, sweep and mop floors, wash walls, empty trash, and disinfect restrooms, following health and safety rules.

Required: High School diploma; pediatric CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications; at least one year custodial experience in a licensed facility; ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Food handler certification required.
• One year custodial or housekeeping experience in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains administrative, eating, and child activity areas in clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions.
• Cleans floors, restrooms, walls, windows, desks and furniture.
• Empties trash receptacles and replaces liners.
• Disinfects restrooms (toilets and sinks) regularly.
• Reports repairs or hazards to management.
• Restocks cleaning supplies by ordering with supervisor.
• Stores and organizes cleaning supply deliveries as needed.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
