Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Building Custodian in Dallas to maintain clean and safe facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, bathroom cleaning, window cleaning, and basic repairs, with outdoor work possible and occasional night/weekend shifts.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED or enrollment, 1–2 years of building maintenance experience, ability to multitask, and a willingness to work as part of a team while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17 years of age with a high school diploma or GED, or currently enrolled in a high school program in good standing, or one to two years general building maintenance experience.
• Preferred: High School Diploma with 1-2 years of janitorial/building maintenance experience.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team with strong listening and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep interior and exterior of the building clean and professional.
• Operate cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies to create a safe work environment.
• Respond to general maintenance requests promptly.
