Job summary

CSL is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, organized collection center environment and perform light maintenance tasks. The role emphasizes safety, quality cleaning, and efficient operations in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of custodial experience. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) months experience as a custodian preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean furnishings and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, remove trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (bulbs, tiles, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Monitor grounds and parking lots; pick up litter.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging shipping materials.
• Inspect and clean restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Receive supplies from vendors and move to storage areas.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; follow HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
