Job summary

CSL Plasma in Indianapolis is seeking a custodian to keep the center clean, safe and orderly. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, restrooms, and windows, plus light maintenance and material handling to support daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of custodial experience; you must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, follow instructions, and may need overtime or bilingual capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months experience as a custodian preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions.
• Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
• Occasionally stand and walk up to 100% of time; lift up to 40 pounds.
• Work overtime and extended hours to support center needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean table, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture and remove trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (light bulbs, tiles, painting, basic plumbing/carpentry).
• Monitor grounds and parking lots, pick up litter.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
• Inspect and clean restrooms; restock paper and soap.
• Receive supplies and move between storage and released/quarantined areas.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
