Job summary

County of Del Norte, CA seeks a Custodian II to maintain public buildings and facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. You will perform janitorial duties, operate basic equipment, and prepare spaces for meetings.

Qualifications

• Sufficient formal and/or informal education at a level necessary for successful performance of duties.
• One year of work experience as a Custodian or equivalent position.

Responsibilities

• Maintains County buildings and facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
• Cleans and disinfects offices and public meeting rooms.
• Dusts and waxes fixtures and furniture; sweeps and mops floors.
• Washes walls and windows; collects and disposes of trash.
• Prepares rooms for public meetings and secures building after events.
• Monitors and reports damage or vandalism; secures doors and grounds.
