Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) in Nyssa, Oregon seeks a Custodian 2 for a full-year position to maintain county buildings and grounds, and provide janitorial and light maintenance services for a clean, safe environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, floors, and fixtures; managing trash and entryways; basic repairs and HVAC-related tasks; and assisting with safety drills and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with one year experience in industrial cleaning, maintenance and repair.
• Or a combination of technical school coursework or experience equivalent to 24 months of maintenance/janitorial responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and floors to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Empty trash, maintain entryways, and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Support safety plans, drills, and emergency procedures; assist with repairs and upkeep.
• Set up and break down furniture for meetings and events.
