Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a dedicated custodian to perform routine housekeeping across assigned facilities. You will collaborate with custodial teams and building occupants to maintain cleanliness and safety.

The role supports essential campus operations in a dynamic university setting. Required is one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with preference for a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• One year of job-related experience required.
• Preferred High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services in assigned area including trash removal, dusting, spot cleaning, restroom sanitation, restocking supplies, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming.
• Operate and maintain power cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners.
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping/storage closets and equipment.
• Use prescribed safety equipment as required.
• Use cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and per guidelines.
• Respond to work requests via the department's service system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
